Here are answers to some of the questions that we have been asked from time to time. We hope that these answers address some of your own questions, otherwise if you still have additional questions, please "Contact Us".

What is GMI?

Gospel Missions International (GMI) was registered as a non-profit organization in Arizona on November 8, 2005, and received its 501(c)(3) certification (tax-exempt status) from the Internal Revenue Service on April 5, 2006. GMI consists of the GMI Church and the GMI Ministries. For more information, please see "GMI Church" and "GMI Ministries".

We are an International Gospel Ministry, and our main focus is on taking the Gospel to the Nations! We are firmly committed to this global mission, and we will go wherever The Holy Spirit directs, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with the same original apostolic faith and fervor, and the demonstration of The Holy Ghost and power!

The Bible declares... "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him." [Acts 10:38], [Isaiah 61:1-3], and the Lord Jesus Christ in turn declared, "...as My Father hath sent me, even so send I you..." [John 20:21]. Our purpose and mission therefore are simply "...To do the Will of Him that sent us, and to finish His Work!" [John 4:34].

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." [Acts 1:8]. "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." [Mark 16:15-16] "To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me." What kind of a Church is the GMI Church?

We are a multi-cultural, non-denominational, Bible-based, Spirit-filled Church. We affirm The Bible as The infallible Word of God and believe it in its entirety. Our primary purpose and focus is to glorify and exalt our Lord Jesus Christ (and none other), to win souls into His kingdom, to bring deliverance through His Name to all that are oppressed of the devil, to promote a community of genuine love, faith, righteousness, peace and joy, and humility before The LORD, and to continue building on the foundation laid by the apostles and prophets, until we all come to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, and the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, and Christ be fully formed in each one of us. What is the format of the GMI Church services?

Each service has its own special flavor, as directed by the Holy Spirit, so we cannot predict in advance exactly what will really happen at each service. However, what we can tell you is that you will no doubt experience glorious praise and worship, along with powerful uncompromised preaching of The Word of God, and an atmosphere of love and unity, and you will certainly feel God's presence among your new family of fellow-Believers! The inspiring, soul-lifting, Spirit-filled, unhibited praise and worship will lift you right into God's presence, and the anointed ministation of The Word of God backed by the demonstration of God's power will meet all your needs! So, we invite you to come believing and you can go home with your miracle, because of the awesome presence, power, grace and mercy of The LORD in every service! We believe and affirm the Bible in its entirety, follow the original apostolic pattern, and rely completely on the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Will I Be Asked to Give?

At GMI Church, we do not engage in constantly campaigning for donations, but we believe that Tithes and Offerings are an integral part of Worship, so at each service you will have an opportunity to give willingly as you are led by The Holy Spirit. However, if you are visiting us for the first time, or you are still checking us out, you do not have to participate in the Tithes and Offerings part of the Service. Howbeit, if you choose to give, we appreciate it, and we assure you that your gift will be put towards the work of the ministry, particularly for Evangelism and Soul Wining, and we know that The LORD will certainly reward you! Offering envelopes are provided, and if you include your name and address, we will gladly send you a receipt for your records. Thank you for helping us in winning souls for The LORD! What Must I do To Be Saved?

"Believe on The Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved [Acts 16:31]. Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is The Lord, and believe in your heart That God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved [Romans 10:9-10]. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ), that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" [John 3:16]. "But as many as received Him (Jesus Christ) to them gave He power (authority) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name (The Lord Jesus Christ)" [John 1:12]. No matter what you've done or how bad yo think you've been, if you confess your sins, and repent and turn unto The LORD with all your heart, He will forgive you and give you a new life in Him. "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool" [Isaiah 1:18]. Do not delay - come to The Lord Jesus Christ right now! He is eagerly waiting for you! "For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation!" [2 Corinthians 6:2].

How Does GMI Baptize and in What Name?

The correct way for baptism is by full emersion, depicting that our old nature is buried with Christ, and we are risen with Him into newness of life. "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” [Romans 6:4]. Furthermore, at GMI, we baptize the original way that the Apostles did, and that is in the Name of The Lord Jesus Christ.. "For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus" [Acts 8:16]. "And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord" [Acts 10:48]. "...When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus" [Acts 19:5].

What are the GMI Ministries and How Can I Participate?

GMI consists of many exciting ministries, each of which is targeting towards glorifying The LORD and doing His work . These exciting ministries provide an opportunity for ministry and service for everyone, and we encourage you to find out more about these ministries and see how you can begin to do something for The LORD as He leads you. Can GMI Ministries Come to Our Country?

The GMI International Gospel Ministry has received many email invitations from pastors, churches and ministries in many countries to come and conduct a Teaching Conference and Miracle Crusade in their country. Unfortunately, we cannot positively respond to all these requests, as we are a small independent ministry not backed by any large organizations. Nevertheless, we carefully pray over each request and will only move as directed by The Holy Spirit. In 2008, we conducted two such missions in The Philippines and Tanzania (see "International Gospel Ministry". However for 2009, we have no budget for intenational missions, but our focus and budget this year will be directed mainly towards local efforts in expanding our Church ministry, unless as God otherwise directs!
