Prison Ministry
The prisons are filled with people languishing away in the prisons, most of them lost without hope. We were instructed by Christ to visit those in prison, as He said, "I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not" [Matthew 25:43]. The Prison Ministry can bring hope, light and deliverance to those that sit in darkness. "To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house" [Isaiah 42:7].
The prison ministry is a wonderful opportunity to bring the light of the love of Christ, and a message of hope to those within the dark walls of prison. Our prison ministry also involves a mentoring program for ex-convicts who have just been released from prison, helping them to get a new start and stay on the right path. If you feel that God If you would like to be a light to those in darkness, we invite you to find out more about our prison ministry.
