Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry is targeted at reaching the youth for Christ in various places outside of the traditional Church environments. This vision is led by the Praise Unlimited team to bring the message of God's love to the youth through comtemporary Gospel music. This is an effective technique in communicating to the youth that being a Believer can be lots of fun! We encourage all our youth to be a part of this exciting ministry as an avenue of sharing their faith with others in their generation. We also invite anyone else that has a passion for the youth to be a part of this wonderful ministry. "I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him" [1 John 2:14-15]. The DisTinct meets every 3rd Friday night of each month at GMI Church.

Schools Ministry

This is an extension of the Youth Ministry. We believe the formative years of our youth are the high-school years, and we need to reach the youth in those years [Ecclesiastes 12:1]. The Schools Ministry is primarily targeted at High-Schools. This outreach program powered by Praise Unlimited Ministries, focuses on giving high school teenagers a forum for expressing and sharing their faith with their peers seeks, and demonstrating that being a Christian is "cool!". With our monthly Gospel Music Concert Youth Night at various high schools around the valley, we are empowering Christian high school teens to "take back" their schools for God, by setting the right leadership examples for others to follow!

Church-in-the-Mall

The first GMI "Church-in-the-Mall" event was held on Saturday November 18, 2006 at Paradise Valley Mall in Phoenix AZ, with huge success, and we give all the glory to The LORD! With this revolutionary concept in Witnessing for Christ, the GMI Praise Unlimited team led an evangelistic outreach in the mall, with contemporary Gospel music, targeted at the youth, but it turned out to be as effective on the older generation as well. Praise The Lord Jesus!

Praise-at-the-Park

The first GMI "Praise-at-the-Park" event was held on Saturday May 12th 2007, at the KMart Shopping Center Parking Lot, at 32nd Street and Cactus in Phoenix AZ. This evangelistic outreach event was led by the GMI Praise Unlimited team, and it was a hugh success and again we give The LORD all the praise and glory!

Praise-on-Campus

Youth Night Gospel Music Concert, Friday October 5th 2007

GMI Praise Unlimited presented another "Praise-on-Campus" Youth Night of great contemporary Gospel music and entertainment at North Canyon High School in Phoenix AZ, featuring great Gospel music by RaiseUP (youth music ministry), God Chaser and The Rep! Praise The LORD!
